Learn the necessary skills for job seeking, including interview preparation, resume building, LinkedIn profiling, knowing where to look, how to use recruiters and never doubt your ability to work again. Get that job is about having a targeted plan that provides you with the resources you need to ‘Get that Job’
Job seeking today in comparison to even 10 years ago has completely changed, and for someone desiring to return to work after a sustained period of injury, illness or disability, knowing where and how to start can be one of the most difficult aspects in returning to life.
With the abundance of job seeking platforms such as Seek, Jora, Indeed, Gumtree jobs, labour-hire companies, it should be easy to get back into the workforce, all I need to do is hit that nice big ‘quick apply’ button… Right?
Unfortunately, it’s not always that black and white. How do we know that the job we’re desiring has an advertised position? How can platforms that are designed to entice thousands of people at a time cater to your specific needs? How do we know that these platforms will allow us to apply for the jobs that are right for you?
GET THAT JOB HAS TAILORED PROGRAMS FOR:
- Life insurer clients
- Lifetime care and support participants
- Private clients
- Outplacement services
- Senior professional and executive positions
The truth is, developing job seeking skills is a MUST nowadays. There is no such thing as a job for life. From interview preparation to the presentation of LinkedIn profiles to skill requirements, job-seeking regularly changes with the times. Industries have specific needs, employers have specific needs, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to the job search.
Many clients have expressed their fears and concerns about how to manage their symptoms and well-being while looking for a job. Having assistance to develop the skills crucial for effective job-seeking is only part of the equation. We will partner with you to develop a job-seeking plan that also looks after you.
For example, we can teach you how to manage a flare-up of symptoms, how to manage anxiety during job-seeking and how to include treatment activities and other responsibilities. One of the critical differences of the Get that Job program is that it is customised to meet the needs of each client. We enable you to become the best candidate for the roles you are best suited to apply for, providing you with the certainty that you can fulfil the requirements of the position. You will never question your ability to do the job again.
